About the Artists

Brian Sage was born in 1974 and grew up boating, drawing, and playing sports in a quiet New England town in Connecticut. He showed an early interest in art which was encouraged by his mother, an accomplished water colorist, and grandfather, an architect and oil painter. Brian continued his visual arts studies at Rollins College where he earned a degree in fine arts.
Passionate about people, beauty and simplicity, Brian describes himself as an American Impressionist whose focus is on people and their relationship to one another and their surroundings. His hope is that viewers will make a personal connection with his work.
Brian currently resides in Boston and travels regularly with his paints, camera and sketch pad – from quiet marine settings to big cities – in search of subject matter and inspirations for his intriguing paintings.

Destiny Palmer is a MFA candidate at Tyler School of Art at Temple University. She's also a 2010 graduate of Massachusetts College of Art and Design where she earned a BFA in painting with distinction. Destiny is the co-founder of Traditions Remixed, an artist collective whose goal is to create a supportive community for young artists, especially artists of color, encouraging collaboration and networking. She has been involved in the arts community for the past ten years, exploring and investigating what it means to be an advocate for the arts.
